Great hooks, cheap case If I were reviewing just the hooks, they would get 5 stars. They are extremely comfortable in my hand, and crochet very smoothly. I use a “knife hold” when crocheting, but I also tried a “pencil hold” and found both grips to be very comfortable. The handle end of the hook has a very soft, smooth, but firm feel to it, and the size of the handle makes them much easier to hold than plain aluminum hooks. I like all the bright colors, too. picture is misleading Great product! I absolutely love the hooks. Not wild about the case color but its not a big deal. I am disappointed though in their listing picture. its very misleading. I thought i would be getting everything pictured, instead you just get a case and hooks. i probably wouldve bought just the hooks had i known since they were $15 cheaper at the time. Oh well. Still a great deal. Just dont let the picture mislead you into thinking you get all those nifty accessories too.
I rarely write reviews, but this product deserved the time and effort. I am not an avid crocheter. I work on projects when I have time and when I feel especially motivated (or when I’m putting off doing my work for the PhD). I am 41, a single mom, and not one to part with my money easily. I took a chance on these, because they were pretty. Seriously, because they looked fun, and I would know which was which by color.
