Old School This is a beautifully illustrated book of how to crochet–old style–where to put the hook, what the stitch should look like rather than all of those squiggles that I cannot follow very well. I loved this little book so much that I bought the knitting one too–even though I do very little knitting. Great learning guide This would be an excellent book for a beginner, but unfortunately it was a lot of detail about a few techniques, not an encyclopedia for experienced crocheters
