Excellent Resource! The Harmony Guide V.6: 300 Crochet Stitches is an excellent reference! I first checked it out from the library; I got my own copy as I figured there were over 45 stitches that I would like to learn from this book (and I’ve been crocheting for years.) The binding could be stronger, so for $10, I took it to Staples to have a spiral binding added and the covers laminated; it’s beautiful! I use it frequently. The stitches are ale clearly explained with good, color pictures beside every new stitch I am a very experienced crocheter, but this book still had plenty of new stitches I did not know. The stitches are ale clearly explained with good, color pictures beside every new stitch. The only thing this book does not have is any reference to gauge, so if you are planning on altering a project, you will need to establish the gauge for yourself. I would recommend this book to people of any level. There is also a great teaching section in the beginning.
Unique use of easy stitches This particular Harmony Guide has the standard sc, dc, front and back post, cluster, and v stitches shown in color with clear directions. What sets it apart from other stitch guides are the number of combinations of the sc and dc to make interesting cloth patterns. Many of the cluster and chain groups are different from patterns I have seen in other books, and several sc, dc in a stich with chains or not produce very pleasant fabrics.
