Handy kit, but why include items for knitting? I usually use metal crochet hooks, but wanted the lighted hook for crocheting with dark colors. It works well for that, but the plastic is a bit sticky. Changing out the ends is easy & the tool provided really isn’t necessary to do this. The kit includes several “extras”. Love the scissors & stitch markers. However, I do not understand why the items that are only used in knitting are included with this CROCHET kit. These items add no extra value at all. There is a flat tape measure…
Items are nice, but the case isn’t sturdy All of the accessories in this pack are nice – the crochet hook is comfortable, the light is spiffy, the tape, scissors, stitch markers, everything included is a good quality. Unfortunately the carrying case it comes in is a bit flimsy and makes it awkward to store everything – I have most of it in a zip lock bag that I close in the case. Not ideal, but it works. There is a fitted slot in the case for the crochet hook, so that is nice.
No hook sizes listed. I am a beginner so i need all the help i can get. I am also legally blind. I bought this set because of the light. I knew it would help me see my stitches better. The case would help me keep things organized. But none of the hooks are marked. I have no idea what size these hooks are. The hooks nore the case give any indication and there was no booklet letting me know either. So i just bought this for… What? I cant use it right now. Very disapointed.
