You get what you pay for While the head and shaft are smooth the handles are horrible for frequent crocheters. The handles claim to be non-stick but after crocheting for a while your hand’s natural oils begin to degrade the rubber materil and they become very sticky and gross. Also, where Input my thumb rests became very worn, the end began to peel, and the metal started poking through.
