but took the chance that it was bad QC. Seems to have been Read the reviews about cracked hooks and rough edges, but took the chance that it was bad QC. Seems to have been. Hooks are smooth, solid and used the 25mm one the day I got it. Loved using it all day. Hopefully the QC department got a lecture after seeing the reviews.
Great for chunky yarn! I had chunky yarn, I needed a bigger hook to work with it, this did it wonderfully!
Not awful, but not phenomenal It’s not the best quality. They’re a bit flimsy, and definitely won’t hold up as long as an aluminium or quality bamboo hook. There’s also a bit of a learning curve to use them. It’s a bit different than aluminium, and with these, you really need to rotate your wrist/hook more than you might be used to, though I think that’s a material issue, not a quality one. It’s not a bad product. I don’t love them as much as I do other wooden/bamboo hooks I have, but for what you pay, it’s a good product.
