My favorite holder for project patterns and charts. Light and easy to take along with me. Love these for project patterns! It is almost the size of a sheet of paper and not heavy. Much easier to use and take along with me in my bag than the easel type pattern holders I’ve tried before. It even comes with magnets and a ruler that work very well. I slip the board behind the top page of my pattern chart, slide the whole thing (with the other pattern pages behind the board) into a plastic page protector and place the magnets to hold the page in place and the ruler that comes with it…
Pictures are deceptive! Does not include stand – Review Updated Dec 2013 I purchased this as a present for my wife to hold her knitting patterns. Since both pictures on the product show the board on a stand, I made the mistake of believing it was part of the product.This is very simply a 8×10 piece of steel (with very sharp edges) and a few magnets. There is no stand and the product even cautions you to cover the edges of the board with masking tape to protect yourself.* Update, December 2013:It appears they have changed the product…
Very useful for keeping your place in handwork charts and patterns This is a product that will add to both the speed and pleasure of hand work projects. And, if you are called away from your project, you don’t have to try to figure out just where you left off. The markers take care of that. I find it so convenient to just glance up at a pattern as I go. I would advise that you get a easel or stand to hold the magnetic board, as that keeps it at eye level. (I use the same stand that I use for my Kindle, but you can figure out what is most handy for you.)…
