Nice vintage thread crochet patterns, but the Kindle edition is difficult to use … This review is for the KINDLE edition of this book. I have both the paperback as well as the Kindle versions. The paperback version rates 5 stars. However, the Kindle version has some serious formatting issues that really interfere with its usability.The patterns here are reprinted from old crochet pattern leaflets, and the instructions are reasonably clear and easy enough to follow for intermediate- to advance-level crocheters. I did love the challenge of it This book is not for newbes… I made the Rose Briar table runner… It took me a month. I have trouble seeing the tiny blocks so I had to copy it over to graph paper. I did love the challenge of it. It’s one of the most satisfying pieces I have ever done.Really want to make the matching table cloth. But I’m afraid my family will disown me lol. I get OCD on projects like that and have to work till it’s done.I love this book… It’s great stuff for those with lots of experience.
