ok for kids and teens this set is inexpensive and perhaps good for a kid or teen that is starting to learn crochet. For me, I find the hooks lacking. I can’t no longer handle the aluminum hooks for more than an hour. The steel hook tip is not smooth (saw burr while checking under magnifier) that would snag threads. I’d rather spend more money to get the Clover Amour or the ergonomic hooks.
Best Boye set To have a set of doily and afghan crochet hooks by Boye all in one cool pouch is wonderful. There are lots of accessories I’m not sure how to use but I bought this for the hooks. All hooks are sized by millimeters. One drawback is the corresponding alphabet letters are not imprinted on the hooks. Some patterns have mm’s and some have letters for which crochet hook to use so you may have to find a conversion chart.
Just what I wanted Just great. Wish they wkuld have out the size on the needles but I’ve been crocheting for years so I have no problem figuring out th sizes.The extra stuff will come in handy. I’m not impressed with the scissors, they aren’t sharp enough unless your cutting paper.
