Colors are off but it’s a pretty simple and easy program This is my go to pattern maker because of how simple it is to use. I’ve been using the free version for a while but have converted to the pro version to make larger patterns. The only negative thing is that the colors are sometimes a bit off. Pinks an beiges look the same, and, the more annoying one, a lot of gray colors turn out to be green when you start shopping for thread. Buggy, but has some good features. Works pretty well for simple charts. This was the first cross stitch charting software I have ever used, so I do not know how it compares to similar programs. I took off two stars because 1) the first time I used it the program crashed a few times, 2) there was a bizarre bug that duplicated one of my chart colors and I could not delete one copy without deleting the whole color, and 3) even though you can change the line style of backstitch symbols with similar colors the chart legend does not…
Crossstich software at an affordable price I have a plethora of crafting uses for this and its worked for all. Its got all the DMC charted colors to choose from so it definitely works for its intended, but I have also charted out my knitting patterns on it, and beading patterns ( you can manipulate the stich layout to figure in bigger beads). I definitely recommend this product for crafting.
