You can use this as a decorative edging, especially at the edge of hats or at the top of slippers. You can also use this as the main stitch for a crochet toy (like a poodle or other curly dog). You can vary the space in between loop rows by changing stitches from double crochet to treble crochet (larger) or single crochet (smaller). You can use any size hook or weight yarn. In this video, a size I 5.5 mm hook is used with medium worsted weight yarn. http://stitchorama.com
