If you have not purchased a ami book from this author… Great buy! I am also in agreement with the other low reviews, do not purchase if you own her previous work! This book contains several repeats.However, if you are new to the world of ami, finally returned other ami books to the library/friends, or ready to make some summer craft goals, this is a great purchase. The book contains what I believe are the highlights of Paula-Rimoli’s other ami books.
Would love a short You Tube video tutorial by the author showing her crocheting one of the animals…. I consider myself an advanced beginner in crochet…..I know most of the stitches but they don’t look even like the experienced crocheters. I also get frustrated with complicated patterns, since I crochet slowly. If you own her other books, don’t bother. The patterns are great! Easy to crochet and clear directions. Her patterns are always cute and I love them. So why the 2 star rating?? I have all of Ana Rimoli’s other books and this is just a re-hash of old patterns from those other books. I feel ripped off and disappointed. I was looking forward to some new patterns by Ana. When I pre-ordered the book months ago it was not made clear that these were just a bunch of old patterns that had already been published. I’ll pass it on the some…
