Does not tell you how to actually crochet I wanted to learn how to crochet. It talks about everything, says it’s for beginners. You get to page 17 which has you starting with a slip knot as your set up. Then page 18 shows hands with the correct position for holding your yarn, hook and slipknot. Then we suddenly hear the importance of a crochet kit while still on page 18 and we move right into Chapter 2 – Gauge and Garments. Better off getting a beginner stitch pattern kit from the … Not for beginners, I was not able to learn from this book at all (would have returned it if I didn’t have to pay to return it, it will just be donated now). Better off getting a beginner stitch pattern kit from the craft store. It doesn’t show how to get from a single chain to any other stitches, not enough photos, if you learn best by reading, maybe this will work.
