Great book Iâve been wondering how you come up with patterns that have more complicated stitches than just repeating the basic stitches like double crochet and this book explains that and so much more. It has detailed formulas you fill out to find how to create exactly what you want to make. There are formulas and patterns for scarves, cowls, hats, mittens & gloves, and socks & slippers. a lot of basic information clarified This book starts out slowly. It covers a lot about yarn, measure, swatches and the like. It was hard for me to get through this part. I found a lot of information here. Much I, knew the end result of not doing or doing wrong. But I found reasons for doing clarified. The explanations for designing patterns in book could be easily expanded to other projects.
