Awesome for beginners As a recent self-taught crocheter, this book is a great one to have in your collection. The photos are beautiful, as Nicki has chosen a color pallette that makes you want to try the project. She rates her wide variety of projects as ‘beginner’, ‘improver’ and ‘enthusiast’. I love doing small projects that show success sooner rather than later, and there are plenty here. At 99 cents, it would have been over priced. Better luck next time. Might be an okay books, if you were reviewing techniques that you already knew how to perform. Appeared to have steps missing, which might not have been a problem for those with knowledge to fill in the gaps. Diagrams were handwritten on blue line paper using less than legible handwriting, so charting did not line up with what a finished piece of fabric might have looked like. It looks altogether unprofessional. It looks like notes that you might have taken in a workshop or seminar, to help you…
