I ordered this book because I was looking for afghan patterns that were quick and easy. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I am so thrilled to have this book in my crochet books collection! That’s a lot of patterns at my fingertips! There is a nice mixture of different patterns, ripple, granny square, lacy, panels, swirls (plus more) and there are also a few baby blankets. My Favorite Afghan Book Already made one Afghan from this book, and it was beautiful. Being somewhat picky, I was pleasantly surprised how many patterns I like! I’ve also bought Mile-a-Minute Afghans and Leisure Arts 48-Hour Afghans. Quick and Cozy Afghans is, by far, my favorite.
Assembly required, not so quick This book contains a “collection” of patterns gathered from other brochures, etc. It may be because many of the patterns were extremely familiar. Personally, I’m not crazy about these. Most are done in pieces & require assembly. I don’t especially care for those. I like a more stretchy cozy pattern. Then most of the ripple patterns have a puffy or popcorn type stitch, a little more advanced, but not impossible. The only thing that makes these quick is the fact that you crochet 2…
