I’m guessing they meant to work the rounds of the head and the total of the 1-5 rounds would be 18 total sts. However, there is no guide or visual instructional guide to assist when the instructions don’t quite make sense. Kindle Version I have not yet read this book or tried any of the patterns in it, but I wanted to put it out there for those who are considering the Kindle Version of this book: it is VERY difficult (even when using the image enlargement feature on your Kindle Paperwhite) to clearly discern from the pictures exactly ‘what’ the completed patterns will look like unless you are already familiar with what an acacia stitch or a granule stitch or an alternate stitch etc. is supposed to look like. expected a lot more! bad quality pictures I really was expecting a lot more from this book.Some of my comments..1- It is VERY thin and small (20 printed pages and the covers printed in both sides. Dimensions: W: 5-3/8″ L: 8-3/8″ and thickness less than 1/16″).2- The quality of the pictures is so bad. They are in black and white, no colors….a lot of white so you cannot realize where the stitches are. The chains and every loop of yarn are distorted.
