The story of the Crowder family of Lincolnshire, England is told in the film ‘Tell Them of Us’. This book tells the story of the film, and how more than 100 knitters from the UK and USA were involved with creating the costumes. The book has over 70 patterns for all the family translated from, and inspired by, the clothes worn during WW1, along with facsimile patterns from the time. It is beautifully photographed in full colour throughout.

I enjoyed this book so much and have knitted a few … I enjoyed this book so much and have knitted a few of the patterns that I needed to purchase a second copy. The book is well written and the modernized versions of the late Victorian/Edward and/World War I patterns are absolutely wonderful. They are sized in a wide range of sizes including four and five x and many of the patterns are sized for the whole family or have variations that will fit the whole family all the way from newborn babies two adults who are full figured.
