WHERE HAVE THESE BEEN ALL MY CROCHETING LIFE? Or maybe the more appropriate question is, Where have I been? With my head in the sand?! I’ve been crocheting for over 30 years and yet somehow or other managed to NOT know what a stitch/ring marker is. And before you ask, YES I really did think that all my fellow crocheters were out there doing just as I always did: counting those rows. Then counting them again. Then recounting. Arghh! Oh well, at least I can look forward to a much easier way of counting for the NEXT 30 years: stitch…
Sturdy I have used these on several projects now and I really like them. I was skeptical that they could be plastic and hold up to being fastened over and over again without breaking but they have held up without any sign of weakening. I like the bright colors as they show up and stand out in my projects. I also have the , which also work well, but will slide off of the yarn if you’re manipulating your project…
Great for marking knitting I purchased the Soft Stitch Ring Markers and they come in a little resuable plastic pouch. They come in two different sizes and in green and purple. The larger rings are ~3/8 inches in diameter, and the smaller rings are ~1/4 inches in diameter. I got a total of 10 large green, 10 large purple, 5 small green, and 5 small purple stitch markers. I’ve used them with size US 6, 7, and 9 needles and they worked really well.
