Wonderful book! I purchased this book with very high hopes (after being terribly disappointed by a kindle version of another of Edie’s books… I could tell that the content of that book was great but the kindle format wrecked it’s functionality for me.)I was not disappointed this time… Edie’s information is beautifully presented, easy to follow and enhanced by gorgeous photos! Connect the Shapes Connect the Shapes: I got this book, hoping it would have lots of designs for small, connecting motifs, but it only has a few. Lots of matching designs to make squares. The author’s primary technique for connecting squares, circles, etc., is to crochet or sew them side-by-side, not what I was looking for. Finally designed my own to go with the medallions I crochetted, using mandalas/medallions from Mandalas to Crochet, by Haafner Linssen.

Very disappointed with this book. Christine I agree with some of the negative reviews. I purchased this book to learn how to join squares using different methods. There aren’t many joining methods and the instructions aren’t very clear with mistakes in them. I also purchased this book for the different motif patterns. However, again I am very disappointed.
