Beautiful design I came across this book while searching for Irish crochet. I had never heard of Barbarian crochet so I wanted to try something different then just the straight single, double crochets that I always do. I have trouble reading the patterns but after I got my sister in law to read and show me, I got the hang of it pretty quick. Its really not that hard to do even for a beginner if you have someone who can show you. I am very happy I bought the book and wish there were move choices on Amazon.
Left wanting more instruction. I have been a crocheter since I was 9 years old. But I just discovered this type of crochet. Learning something like this from a book is not easy anyway, but I felt like these instructions were lacking just a bit. I’m having trouble getting my attempts at this type of crochet to come out as it looks in the picture (basically, the hole in the center to be as small as it looks in the picture).
