Very easy guide to follow! NOTE: everything I know about crocheting/amigurumi, I learned online. And I’m not sure why my expectation bar for a book like this was really low.I honestly wasn’t expecting too much out of it, but after skimming through the pages, I’ve found that not only does it provide (what I like to call) a quick review of how to do certain amigurumi (or crochet if you will) techniques, it is quick and easy to follow with even a picture guide to know what you’re doing!
Only good if you like working with charts. The animals are cute. There are lots of photos and “How to ” instructions good for beginners. My problem is that the written patterns leave much to be desired. They don’t indicate color changes and other details I am used to. I consider myself very experienced at amigurumi, having made literally hundreds of animals, but I do not like using charts. It is hard for me to keep track of my place. I found the book cute but frustrating. I will donate it to the library.
