Uncomfortably poor design There is an indentation in the perfect spot for your fingers, or so it seems. Unfortunately there are raised plastic words on both sides that irritate your fingers while you crochet. I need it otherwise I would return it. Also, this book is the recommended size for size 7 super bulky yarn. The crochet hook should be longer based on the thickness of the yarn. Trying to do a stitch other than a sc puts so much yarn on the hook that you are forced to hold the very end which makes it very difficult…
It’s Big! But It’s what I Need Started making crochet rugs out of old jeans. It’s a process, cutting the jeans, sewing the strips together to make the yarn, etc. This hook works very well for crocheting yarn made out of old jean strips. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars for easy to hold and comfort is it’s BIG. However, it’s what I need for this project. I’d order again.
