You get what you pay for – good and bad Decided to try Tunisian crochet, and wanted a basic set of hooks, but didn’t want to pay a lot in case I didn’t like this type of crochet. They’re pretty good for the money.Good range of sizes. I like the case. Nice smooth finish on most of them.Problem with the 2.5mm and 2.0mm hooks. The finish on the 2.5mm hook is scratched off in one spot. The 2.0mm hook is bent. I probably won’t be using these two hooks, so it’s not a “send it back” issue.
Great buy. I’ve been crocheting for over 50 years, but my experience with the afghan stitch has been limited. Recently I decided to learn more about it and so I purchased these hooks so that I could practice various stitches with various weights of yarn. They are light weight (that’s the bamboo) and came in lots of sizes which is what I wanted. The only problem that I’ve actually found with them is that there is some roughness along the tip of the hook which catches at the yarn. This was easily…

I stood (heel weight gently) on curved hooks 5 & 6.5mm, placing them on a mat. They straightened in 2-3mins whilst checking emails.2.
