The grips fit nicely into the hand The grips fit nicely into the hand, however, the hook arm is a little too short for crocheting two or more stitches together. There isn’t enough room for all the yarn to fit evenly. You have to really gather the yarn on the hook and make sure you watch when combining the stitches. It is very nice for dark yarns and regular stitching.
Love these hooks, but can’t use with thicker yarns requiring more hook length. I really like the light effect and the ergonomic handle. These are really nice. I would like the option of choosing which sizes we’re in a set. That would be nice.What I liked the least. Some things I crochet as well as some of the thicker yarns I use, require more space on the hook/needle. The ergonomic handles came up too far in these cases and I had to get my old hooks out and didn’t get to use the light feature of my new hooks. That was disappointing because I believe the light…
The Hawks are not the greatest and the lights beam in your eyes You would think having lighted hooks would be a good thing but it did not work very well. When you turn the light on it beans right in your eyes. The hook is not the greatest considering I do a lot of crocheting, it catches in the middle of your yarn so you are constantly re-correcting. I do not recommend this product.
