Not bad, not amazing, but definitely decent. As a beginner crocheter, I wasn’t one hundred percent sure what I should order–I just wanted some larger hooks to work with some bulky yarn I had. I use the P and N hooks a lot for those kind of projects. I do think they are a little slippery, and sometimes I have difficulty with the yarn on. I recently got a metal N hook with an ergonomic handle and I like that much better. BUT I also just started trying to figure out tunisian crochet and these work pretty swell for playing around with that…
Lion Brand is a reliable brand! They make great stuff! I love anything Lion Brand but I will say again, if the handles has the twist in them Iâd like them better and use them more often. The feel kind of awkward. Maybe I just havenât tried using them long enough!
They work. These crochet hooks aren’t beautiful, but the get the job done. I have only used the red one so far, to make a rag rug (using torn strips from an old sheet). It worked perfectly for that project.
